Terms of Service

Upscanr provides HTTP uptime monitoring and keyword alerting for URLs you provide. We run periodic checks against those URLs and send email alerts when we detect downtime or keyword changes.

You may use the Service to monitor URLs you own or have permission to monitor. You may not:

• Monitor URLs with the intent to probe, stress-test, or attack a system you do not own.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited email to third parties.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service infrastructure.
• Share account credentials or create accounts on behalf of others without authorisation.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime of the Upscanr platform itself. Check intervals are best-effort. A missed check due to platform downtime does not constitute a breach of these Terms, and we do not offer SLA credits on any paid plan.

If a third-party URL check fails due to network conditions outside our control (CDN blocking, rate limiting, CAPTCHA), the result is recorded as a failure. Frequent false positives on a specific URL are the responsibility of the account holder to investigate.

Free accounts are subject to the limits described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in USD and exclusive of any applicable taxes.

You may cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your plan remains active until the end of the paid period; there are no pro-rated refunds for early cancellation.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing paid subscribers.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Upscanr platform, branding, and code are owned by the operator. You retain ownership of any URLs, configurations, and data you provide. You grant us the limited right to process that data to deliver the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Upscanr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of revenue or data resulting from missed alerts, false positives, or service interruptions.

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for more than 12 months on a free plan, with 14 days’ notice by email.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
